The Joint Conference of the People of Taiwan, Hong Kong, Tibet, Uygur, and Inner Mongolia Against the Atrocity in China

THE BACKGROUND

On March 5, 2024, the National People’s Congress of the Communist Party of China reviewed and revised the “Organization Law of the State Council” to implement Xi Jinping’s totalitarian dominance, it weakened the national administrative authority of the State Council. Speaking clearly, it means the legalization of dictatorship.
Xi administration denies the universal value of “democracy, freedom, and human rights” and it also tries to deny the international order and regulations established by the democratic countries of the United States and Europe after World War II.
PLA warships and aircraft continuously patrol and conduct military exercises around Taiwan, which has created a crisis for Taiwan’s sovereignty and security.
China has ended „one country, two systems“ in Hong Kong. The destruction of democracy and the legal system and the ban on the freedom of the press led to the mass arrest of democratic personalities and journalists as well as the shutdown of many liberal newspapers, magazines, radio, and TV stations.
In Tibet, Xinjiang, Southern Mongolia, etc., policies of large‐scale human rights persecution are implemented and the so‐called Xi Jinping’s “new era ethnic policy” is on the agenda. It intends to eliminate the language, culture, religion, and tradition of those ethnic groups. In the name of “boarding school”, young children of all ethnic groups are separated from their families, they are recruited into those schools, where they are brainwashed with Chinese communist ideology.
The autocratic dictatorship has enslaved the Chinese people. Under high political pressure, the people have lost the freedom of expression and freedom of religion.
The Chinese democratic movement shall unify all the suppressed people in Taiwan, and Hong Kong, as well as the ethnic groups. Together we stand with the world’s democratic camp, unswervingly cooperating with the international forces of justice. With joint strength, we may break through the last bastion of the human autocratic forces. The dictatorship of the Chinese Communist Party must be terminated. China’s democratic transformation can also be a steady pillar for world peace.
