我叫霍嘉志，曾是香港的一名律師。今天，我懷著沈重的心情，但同時也懷著堅定的決心站在這裏。作為一名來自香港的律師，如今卻被迫流亡，被當局貼上「逃犯」的標簽，我深知眼睜睜看著家園消失的痛苦。今天，我們紀念3月10日——這不僅是藏族的紀念日，更是所有拒絕讓中國政府抹殺自身身份的人們的紀念日。雖然我們來自不同的地方，但我們擁有同一個目標。藏族的鬥爭如今已成為香港的現實。我們不僅僅是受害者，我們也是文明演進的共同見證者。許多人將「中間道路」誤解為軟弱或屈服。作為一名香港人，我認為它體現了極大的政治勇氣——選擇共存和真正的自治，而非訴諸暴力的分裂，這需要比拿起武器更大的力量。「中間道路」的核心在於守護一個民族的靈魂：語言、信仰和歷史。
對香港而言，捍衛核心價值觀和真理；對西藏而言，守護獨特的精神文明。香港曾嘗試通過「一國兩制」走中間道路，但最終失敗——並非因為共存失敗，而是因為共產黨違背了承諾。香港的悲劇猶如一面鏡子：如果一個政權為了打造全球金融中心而違反聯合國登記的條約，那麽危機就在於該政權缺乏信譽，而非中間道路本身。
我們支持「中間道路」並非出於天真，而是因為對話與非暴力更能持久地保護人民。在當今兩極分化、充滿暴力的世界（尤其是在當前形勢下），中間道路提供了一種至關重要的選擇。專制政權最懼怕的是非暴力抵抗。達賴喇嘛的智慧使流亡中的西藏事業在道德上不可戰勝。當面臨非此即彼的選擇時，中間道路創造了理性的空間——政治應當使不同的文化能夠呼吸同樣的空氣。核心價值觀：尊重生命和生存權。暴力可以壓制聲音，但無法根除思想。中間道路連接國際社會，團結流亡者，確保不同國家的人民共同對抗同樣的暴政。我為香港許多無法發聲的人們挺身而出。致藏人：你們的抵抗和勇氣是我們的指路明燈。香港的運動雖遭鎮壓，但並未消亡；西藏的「和平之巔」運動雖遭審查，但聲音依舊響亮。請繼續支持中間道路——這不僅是西藏的道路，更是通往充滿慈悲、多元世界的藍圖。只要我們堅守理性與人性，就必將勝利。

Dear Guests, fellow freedom fighters and my dear Tibetan brothers and sisters. My name is Johnny Falk and I was a lawyer in Hong Kong. I stand before you today with a heavy heart but a firm resolve. As a lawyer from Hong Kong now forced into exile and labeled fugitive by the regime, I know the pain of watching one’s homeland disappear.Today we commemorate March 10th—not just a Tibetan anniversary, but a day of remembrance for everyone who refused to let their identity be erased by the Chinese government. Though from different places, we share the same goal. The Tibetan struggle is now Hong Kong’s lived reality. We are not just victims; we are co-witnesses to civilization’s evolutions.Many mistake the Middle Way for weakness or surrender. As a Hong Konger, I see it as extreme political courage—choosing coexistence and genuine autonomy over violent separation requires more strength than picking up a weapon. The core of the Middle Way is protecting a people’s soul: language, faith, history. For Hong Kong, defending core values and truth; for Tibet, preserving unique spiritual civilization.Hong Kong tried a version of Middle Way via “one country, two systems,” but it collapsed—not because coexistence failed, but because the Communist Party broke its promise. Hong Kong’s tragedy is a mirror: if a regime can breach a UN-registered treaty for a global financial hub, the crisis lies in the regime’s lack of credibility, not the Middle Way.We support the Middle Way not naively, but because dialogue and nonviolence are more sustainable for protecting people. In today’s polarized, violent world (especially the situation now), the Middle Way offers a vital alternative. Authoritarian regimes fear nonviolent resistance most. The Dalai Lama’s wisdom keeps the Tibetan cause morally invincible in exile. When pushed to A vs. B, the Middle Way creates sanity space—politics should enable different cultures to breathe the same air.Core value: respect for human lives and right to live. Violence silences voices but cannot uproot ideas. The Middle Way engages the international community, unites exiles, and ensures people from different countries fight the same tyranny together.I stand for many in Hong Kong who can no longer speak. To Tibetans: your resistance and courage are our guide and lighthouse. Hong Kong’s movement suppressed but not extinguished; Tibet’s “Peaks for Peace” censored but remains loud. Continue supporting the Middle Way—it’s not just Tibet’s path, but a blueprint for a compassionate, pluralistic world. As long as we hold reason and humanity, we will prevail.
